This oil painting (16" x 16" on panel) depicts the set up of Turkish style coffee. The copper box is filled with sand, a fire is lit beneath to heat the sand and the copper pot full of coffee is cooked upon the sand. The pot and a small cup are served  to each customer. This scene was in the Old City of Jaffa, Israel. I focused on capturing the different metal colors and reflections; the red tablecloth can be seen reflected in the silver box.
